The Naples Flying Club is a member-owned, not-for-profit equity club. Each member holds an undivided share in the club's aircraft, and fixed costs are spread across the membership, so flying stays affordable.

How membership works
A membership position is an undivided share, purchased directly from a selling member and subject to club approval. The share price is negotiated between buyer and seller, not set by the club. New members pay a one-time application fee and ongoing monthly dues that cover fixed costs; hourly rates cover the variable cost of flying.

Hourly rates are wet (tach) time and assume fuel at $4.25 per gallon; a fuel surcharge applies when fuel costs more.
How to apply
- Get the forms. Download the membership application and forms below.
- Complete the forms. Fill in the application and insurance forms, and write a short cover letter saying how you found the club and why you'd like to join. Include photographs of your driver's license, pilot certificate and medical certificate (a 3rd class minimum for initial applicants), along with a signed and initialed copy of the by-laws and the rules and regulations. Send everything as PDFs to the secretary .
- Submit the above with the application fee. A $50 application fee is required to process your application. For instructions on how to pay it, call Fred at 239-571-7519.
- Board review. The review takes up to 30 days once your application is received.
- Buy a membership position. After approval, purchase a position directly from a current, paid-up member. A membership assignment form, available from the secretary, completes the transfer and can serve as a bill of sale.
- Finish within six months. Obtain your membership position within six months of approval, or the application expires.
